Eco-Friendly Thermal Bonding

Our Low Melting Point Fiber (LMF) is a sheath-core bicomponent fiber. The sheath is modified polyester with a lower melting point (110°C to 180°C), while the core is standard polyester. It acts as an eco-friendly adhesive in thermal bonding processes, replacing chemical glues.

1) Key Advantages

  • Excellent Bonding Strength: Ensures structural integrity in non-woven fabrics.
  • Environmental Friendly: No chemical binders needed, reducing VOC emissions.
  • Easy Processing: Consistent melting behavior for high-speed production lines.

2) Core Specifications

Denier (D) 2D, 4D, 6D, 15D
Length (mm) 38mm, 51mm, 64mm
Melting Point 110°C - 180°C
Available Colors Raw White, Black, Brown

3) Primary Applications

  • Automotive: Door panels, headliners, and sound insulation.
  • Construction: Heat and sound insulation materials.
  • Bedding: Mattresses, padding, and high-loft wadding.
